In a move to bolster urban infrastructure, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi launched several road construction projects worth approximately Rs 3.10 crore on Friday. The legislator inaugurated the works in the presence of residents and volunteers, starting the development drive from Ward Number 74.

The project focuses on improving traffic flow and residential accessibility across various parts of the constituency. A significant portion of the work includes the construction of service lanes on both sides of the Old GT Road, covering the vital stretch from Jagraon Bridge to Dholewal Chowk.

In addition to the main thoroughfares, the initiative targets local neighborhood connectivity. The MLA confirmed that the funds will also cover the reconstruction of internal streets in Nirankari Mohalla and other nearby residential pockets to resolve long-standing transit issues for locals.

During the launch, MLA Prashar emphasized that these projects align with Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s vision for the holistic development of Punjab. He stated that the government remains committed to upgrading public infrastructure and providing quality amenities at the grassroots level.

Prashar also hinted at further upcoming investments for the area. He assured the public that more development projects worth crores of rupees are in the pipeline and will be officially launched in the coming days to further facilitate the citizens of Ludhiana.
