Illegal Construction in Bhadaur House Sealed by MC Ludhiana

Taking strict action against unauthorized development, the Municipal Corporation (Ludhiana) sealed an illegal building and dismantled shuttering installed for an additional floor in the Bhadaur House area on Tuesday.
The operation was carried out by the Building Branch of MC Zone A following the directions of MC Commissioner Dr. Neeru Katyal Gupta.
According to civic body officials, the action was initiated after receiving a formal complaint regarding the unauthorized construction. Although a notice had previously been served to the owner to halt work, the construction continued in violation of the orders, leading to the enforcement drive and subsequent sealing of the premises.
Officials confirmed that the owner was attempting to add another floor to the existing structure, but the installed shuttering was removed during the drive.
The Municipal Corporation has issued an appeal to residents to ensure all construction projects begin only after obtaining an approved building plan. Officials warned that strict enforcement measures will continue against any further illegal constructions in the city.
