Ludhiana ICAI Branch Hosts ‘Rise, Lead, Transform’ Seminar to Mark International Women’s Day

The Ludhiana Branch of the Northern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India celebrated International Women’s Day 2026 by organizing an inspiring seminar focused on leadership, professional growth, and health awareness among women professionals. The event was held under the theme “Rise, Lead, Transform – Beyond Boundaries” and aimed to highlight the achievements and contributions of women chartered accountants while encouraging them to prioritize their personal and professional well-being.
The seminar, conducted under the Women Members Excellence Committee of ICAI, brought together women chartered accountants from Ludhiana and nearby regions who participated enthusiastically in the interactive sessions and discussions.
The program featured insightful sessions by prominent speakers who addressed important issues related to women’s professional and personal development. YouTuber Mankeerat Kaur delivered a session titled “She Leads the World – But Who Leads Her Health?” in which she discussed nutrition, hormonal balance, and holistic health for women professionals. Chartered Accountant Aanchal Kapoor, a GST advisory and litigation expert, spoke on “Mastering Tax & Law: A Woman CA’s Path to GST Litigation,” sharing her professional experiences and guidance for women entering the field of taxation and legal practice.
Cardiologist Dr. Shibba Takkar from Hero Heart and DMCH also addressed the participants with a session titled “Be Heart Smart: Why a Lady CA’s Most Important Audit is Her Own Health,” emphasizing the importance of cardiovascular health and regular health monitoring for women professionals.
The event was graced by Prachi Aggarwal, Deputy General Manager and IC Head at Indian Bank, IC Chandigarh, who attended the seminar as the Guest of Honour.
The seminar began with inspiring opening remarks by CA Keshav Gupta, Secretary of the Ludhiana Branch, followed by a welcome address from Branch Chairman CA Vikas Goyal. In his speech, Goyal extended greetings on International Women’s Day and appreciated the achievements and growing leadership of women professionals in the chartered accountancy field.
Members of the Ludhiana Branch managing committee also attended the event, including Vice Chairman CA Rakesh Kumar Grover, Treasurer CA Avneet Singh, CA Shilpi Sharma, Immediate Past Chairman CA Mohit Vasan, CA Sumit Bharti Gupta, CA Lovish Gupta, and CA Aman Garg.
Vice Chairman CA Rakesh Kumar Grover concluded the seminar with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the speakers, special guests, sponsors, and participants for making the event successful.
