Teachers Shape Nation’s Future, Says Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker in Ludhiana

Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan on Friday described teachers as the true architects of the nation’s future, urging them to combine academics with moral values while addressing the annual day function of The Preplife Convent School in Ludhiana.
Addressing students, teachers and parents, Kultar Singh Sandhwan said education plays a decisive role in shaping responsible citizens and strengthening the nation. He emphasized that value-based education helps young minds develop character, discipline and social responsibility, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to society and nation-building.
The Speaker called upon students to strive for excellence in academics and pursue higher education with dedication. He said knowledge, when guided by ethics, becomes the strongest foundation for long-term success and urged students to use education as a tool for social good.
Sandhwan also praised the Punjab government led by Bhagwant Singh Mann for its continued efforts to improve the education sector and ensure access to quality learning for all. During the event, he felicitated academic toppers and encouraged them to continue working hard with humility and purpose.
MLA Chaudhary Madan Lal Bagga motivated students to dream big and remain focused on their goals, stating that perseverance and hard work are essential for success. He added that the youth have a key role in transforming India into a global superpower and should treat failures as stepping stones rather than setbacks.
MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi and Mayor Principal Inderjeet Kaur were also present at the event. School Principal Bharat Dua welcomed the dignitaries and thanked parents for their participation, saying their support plays a vital role in students’ overall development.
