Vardhman Steels Launches E-Classroom at Govt Multipurpose School Ludhiana Under CSR

In a significant move to bolster digital education in Punjab, Vardhman Special Steels Limited inaugurated a state-of-the-art E-classroom at the Government Multipurpose School in Ludhiana this week. The facility, developed under the company’s flagship CSR initiative "Project Disha," was formally opened by the Mayor of Ludhiana alongside the Zonal Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation and the District Education Officer (DEO).
The inauguration ceremony saw senior officials and school staff gather to celebrate the introduction of modern technology into the daily curriculum of local students. During the event, the School Management expressed profound gratitude to Sachit Jain, Chairman of Vardhman Steels, and Soumya Jain, Executive Director, noting that their consistent support plays a vital role in securing a brighter and more competitive future for children in the region.
Amit Dhawan, the CSR Head for Vardhman Steels, highlighted that the company remains deeply committed to the promotion of education under the visionary leadership of its top management. He informed the gathering that this specific installation marks the 7th E-classroom established by Vardhman Steels in various government schools across Punjab, showcasing a steady expansion of their educational outreach.
By replacing traditional teaching methods with digital tools, the project aims to bridge the technological divide for students who may not otherwise have access to such resources. The initiative reflects a growing trend of corporate-led interventions designed to upgrade public school infrastructure and provide underprivileged students with the skills necessary for the 21st century.
