A high-profile delegation of city trade associations met with the newly appointed Additional Commissioner of Police (IPS), Rupinder Singh, at his office today to address pressing industrial concerns and strengthen the rapport between the business community and law enforcement.

The representatives, led by prominent industrial figures, formally congratulated Rupinder Singh on his recent posting. They expressed optimism that his leadership would bring enhanced security and streamlined administrative cooperation for the city’s manufacturing sectors.

During the dialogue, the members highlighted several critical industry-related matters that require immediate police attention. The discussions primarily focused on improving the safety infrastructure within industrial hubs and ensuring a conducive environment for local trade operations.

The delegation included Inderjit Singh Sohal, Sukhdayal Singh Basant, and Charanjit Singh Vishivkarma. They were joined by Manjit Singh Deol, Amreek Singh Jaimal, Bhupinder Singh of Asia Crane, Gaurav Sood, Darshan Singh Lotey, and Harvinder Singh Sohal.

Rupinder Singh listened to the grievances and suggestions presented by the trade leaders. He assured the delegation that the police department remains committed to supporting the industrial backbone of Ludhiana by maintaining law and order and addressing their specific logistical and security challenges.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both the police administration and the trade representatives agreeing to maintain an open channel of communication to resolve future industrial issues promptly.
