Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga officially kick-started the construction of a new ‘Cricket Joy Box’ at Hanuman Park in Guru Nanak Pura on Monday, marking a significant investment of Rs 20.49 lakh into the local sports infrastructure.

The project, located near Kundanpuri Government School in Ward Number 91, aims to foster a vibrant sports culture among the city's youth by providing modern, accessible facilities within residential neighborhoods. MLA Bagga inaugurated the site alongside Councillor Tejinder Kaur Raja, Tejinder Singh Raja, Block President Bobby Sharma, and Anil Sharma.

During the ceremony, Bagga emphasized that the initiative aligns with Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s vision for the holistic development of Punjab. He noted that the administration is simultaneously addressing multiple facets of urban growth, ranging from upgrading road networks and water-sewer lines to enhancing recreational spaces.

The MLA highlighted that similar sports facilities have already been successfully established in other sectors of the constituency. He assured residents that the government remains committed to launching more such projects in the coming days to ensure every neighborhood has adequate resources for physical activity.

To ensure these projects meet the actual needs of the community, Bagga stated that he maintains regular contact with the public. By gathering direct feedback from residents, the office intends to prioritize development works that offer the most significant benefits to the general public and the younger generation.
