Ludhiana Mayor Attends All India Council of Mayors Meeting in Rishikesh

Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur reached Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, on Tuesday to participate in the executive meeting of the All India Council of Mayors, where civic leaders from across the country will discuss urban development and governance issues.

The executive meeting is scheduled to be held on Wednesday and will bring together mayors from different cities to exchange ideas, share experiences, and deliberate on challenges faced by urban local bodies.

Office bearers of the All India Council of Mayors welcomed Mayor Inderjit Kaur upon her arrival in Rishikesh.

Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor said that participation in such meetings helps city representatives explore new ideas for development and improve public services. She added that these interactions provide an opportunity to learn from successful initiatives adopted in other cities.

Mayor Inderjit Kaur said discussions during the meeting would focus on enhancing civic facilities and finding solutions to common urban challenges. She emphasized the importance of collaboration among city administrations for achieving sustainable development.

The Mayor also appreciated the efforts of the All India Council of Mayors in promoting cooperation among urban local bodies and contributing to the overall development of cities across the country.
