Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Sunday expressed grief over the death of three workers in a gas leak incident in Ludhiana and urged the government to provide immediate and adequate compensation to the victims' families.

Reacting to the tragedy, Warring said the gas leak claimed three lives and left several other workers ill, causing immense suffering to the affected families. He described the incident as deeply distressing and said such tragedies leave a lasting impact on individuals, families and communities.

"I am deeply saddened by the tragic gas leak incident in Ludhiana that claimed the lives of three workers and left others seriously ill," Warring said in a statement.

The Punjab Congress chief conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for strength and courage for them during this difficult time. He also wished a speedy recovery to the workers who are undergoing treatment after the incident.

Warring called on the government to extend immediate financial assistance to the families of the deceased and ensure adequate compensation for their loss.
