The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) marked a proud moment for the profession by organizing its Convocation 2025 simultaneously at 15 centres across the nation. The ceremonies honoured thousands of newly qualified Chartered Accountants, with Ludhiana standing out as one of the most vibrant venues.

At the Ludhiana Branch of NIRC of ICAI, the event took place at Hotel Radisson Blu where more than 250 young professionals were formally awarded their degrees. Over 700 people, including proud parents and guardians, joined in the celebrations, making it a memorable day for the city’s accounting fraternity.

 The convocation opened with a live telecast of the address by CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, President of ICAI, and CA. Prasanna Kumar D, Vice President of ICAI. Their inspiring words, broadcast across all 15 centres, urged the new Chartered Accountants to uphold ethics, excellence, and leadership as they embark on their professional journeys.

 At the Ludhiana centre, the program commenced with introductory remarks from CA. Rakesh Grover, Secretary of the Ludhiana Branch, followed by a warm welcome from CA. Mohit Wasan, Chairman of the branch.

The ceremony was graced by CA. Hitesh Goyal, Vice Chairman (NIRC of ICAI) & Ex-officio Member, who shared invaluable insights with the gathering. Several dignitaries, including CA. Vikas Goyal (Vice Chairman, Ludhiana Branch), CA. Keshav Gupta (Treasurer), CA. Avneet Singh (NICASA Ludhiana Chairperson), and Managing Committee Members CA. Sumit Bharti Gupta, CA. Lovish Gupta, CA. Shilpi Sharma, and CA. Aman Garg, added further prestige to the event.

 As each graduate received their convocation certificate, the hall resonated with applause, reflecting not only individual achievement but also the promise of ICAI’s enduring role in nation-building.

 Expressing pride in hosting the event, CA. Mohit Wasan reaffirmed the branch’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of financial leaders. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by CA. Vikas Goyal, who acknowledged the presence and guidance of the dignitaries.
