CICU, YBLF Organise Intensive AI Training Session for MSMEs and Exporters

In a major initiative to promote digital transformation among industries, the Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU), in association with the Young Business Leaders Forum (YBLF) and JCI Ludhiana Central, organised a full-day “AI Business Breakthrough” workshop at the CICU Complex in Focal Point on Thursday. More than 200 entrepreneurs, industrialists, exporters, professionals and business executives from across Punjab attended the event.

Renowned AI expert and TEDx speaker Sanjeev Jain, founder of CEOTBOX, conducted the workshop and explained how Artificial Intelligence is rapidly changing business operations across the world. He demonstrated practical AI tools and automation systems that can help MSMEs improve productivity, customer engagement, decision-making and operational efficiency while reducing dependence on manpower.

Participants took part in live demonstrations and hands-on exercises focused on manufacturing, exports, finance, marketing, administration and customer service. The session also highlighted how AI can assist exporters in international marketing, customer communication, lead generation, market research and documentation.

Manufacturers were guided on the use of AI in production planning, inventory management, HR systems, predictive maintenance and quality control. Several attendees described the workshop as highly relevant for modern industries and appreciated the practical approach that encouraged participants to implement AI tools in real time using laptops.

CICU president Upkar Singh Ahuja said Artificial Intelligence had become an immediate necessity for industries seeking growth, competitiveness and sustainability. He stated that Punjab’s MSMEs must adopt technology-driven systems to remain globally competitive and added that CICU would continue organising similar knowledge-based sessions for industrial units and entrepreneurs.

Organising secretary J.S. Bhogal said the enthusiastic participation reflected the growing interest of industries in AI adoption and digital transformation. He added that the workshop provided practical exposure to modern tools that can significantly improve business productivity and efficiency.

The event was organised with the support of the YBLF team led by Nikhil Dhand, who coordinated the programme and ensured participation from a large number of industries. Representatives from engineering, textiles, automobiles, exports, chemicals, technology, tools, finance and manufacturing sectors attended the workshop.

Prominent participants included industrialists and representatives from New Swan, Dhand Steels, Dalsons India, Welltech Industry, FAS International, Laika Overseas, Tekki Web Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Geekfactory Innovations Pvt. Ltd., Dada Motors, Goldstar Fabrics Pvt. Ltd., Hero Motors Ltd., Eastman Industries Ltd. and several other enterprises.

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks to the organisers, faculty members and participants. Many attendees also expressed interest in attending advanced AI training sessions and sector-specific workshops in the future.
